I stole an open wire feeder idea and used it to make a fan dipole, I use in inverted v formation.
The spreaders are electric fence insulators I bought at Tractor Supply Co. and thread an 11" ty-wrap through it and around the wires, the picture explains it better! I used #12 XHHW building wire, like THHN but doesn't have the clear coating that's not UV resistant and looks bad after a couple years. Mine is 3 bands 80, 40 and 20 (4 actually, 40 works on 15 with higher SWR).
